Beyonce and Jay-Z Are Getting Sued For ‘Drunk In Love’

Beyoncé and Jay Z made what became one of the biggest songs of the year with “Drunk in Love,” but now a Hungarian singer is saying they don’t deserve all the credit and she’s going to sue them for the copyright infringement.

The Hungarian folk singer Mónika Juhász Miczura, aka Mitsou, is alleging that Bey and Jay, as well as Timbaland, who co-produced the song, used vocals from her 1995 song “Bajba, Bajba Pelem.” The singer claims that the ethnic beginning vocal part from ‘Drunk In Love’ is her work. (Read More)

Fatboy Slim – Push And Shove vs. Beck: E-Pro

The elements of both these songs are very similar. From the chord progression (mainly) to the drum beats to the overall feel, both song are rock songs with an electronic overlay at a medium hip hop RPM. But since Beck is just an all around better musician, it’s easier to hear the Beck melody over the Fatbox Slim song than the other way around.
