Michael Alig is notoriously known as an New York City underground show and party promoter and member of the Club Kids who is now serving a 20 year prison sentence for manslaughter on the murder of drug dealer “Angel” Meléndez. Alig’s friend, James St. James, wrote a book about the Club Kids named Disco Bloodbath which recounts the murder and events surrounding it.
