Yet another highly expected film got postponed by COVID-19 pandemic. Why do I say “highly expected”? Because this film is produced by Guillermo del Toro who’s best known for his Oscar winning Best Director of Pan’s Labyrinth (2006) and Best Picture of The Shape of Water (2017).
Antlers was originally expected for April 2020, but has been delayed over a year. The movie was based on a short story by Nick Antosca “The Quiet Boy“.
The story follows a school teacher Julia Meadows (played by Keri Russell) and her police officer brother Paul (played by Jesse Plemons) live in a small town in Oregon, where they become entangled with a situation which involves one of her student, Lucas who is secretly keeping a mysterious creature in his house.
